The Fine Print..

We are so excited you've signed up to paint with us! You're almost there - just one last step! Please carefully read the following. If you agree, sign, and submit this waiver before your paint and sip event. By making a payment for any paint party event with The Painted Edge, I acknowledge and  agree to the following terms and conditions on behalf of myself and/or my child:

1. Assumption of Risk:  

I understand that participation in activities at The Painted Edge involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, exposure to paint and other materials that may cause stains or damage to clothing and personal belongings. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in these activities.

2. Photography and Videography: 

I hereby grant The Painted Edge the right to take photographs and videos of me and/or my child during events. The Painted Edge, LLC reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during classes, workshops, and other events used for publicity materials and social media. Booking/Registration in classes gives The Painted Edge, LLC permission to use those images without further consent or compensation.
 

3. Refunds and Chargebacks:

I acknowledge that all sales are final, and no refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows. I agree not to initiate any credit card chargebacks for services rendered by The Painted Edge. In the event of a dispute, I will contact The Painted Edge directly to seek resolution.

4. Damages to Clothing and Personal Belongings:

I understand that participation in paint-related activities may result in paint or other materials coming into contact with clothing and personal belongings. I agree that The Painted Edge is not responsible for any damages to clothing, accessories, or personal items. Participants are advised to wear appropriate attire.

5. Medical Treatment:

In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I consent to The Painted Edge arranging for medical treatment as deemed necessary. I understand that I will be responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

6. Indemnification:

I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Painted Edge, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from or related to my participation or my child's participation in events at The Painted Edge.

7. Release of Liability:

I hereby release and discharge The Painted Edge, its owners, employees, and agents from all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from participation in events at The Painted Edge, including but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, or loss.

8. Governing Law:

I hereby waive, release, and discharge any and all rights and claims against The Painted Edge, LLC and staff for damages, personal injury, personal property, death or permanent total disability, which I may have or which may hereafter occur as a result of participation with The Painted Edge, LLC. This waiver is intended to discharge in advance The Painted Edge, LLC from all liability arising out of or in connection with any part of the entireties of The Painted Edge, LLC. I understand that there are certain risks and hazards involving participation in The Painted Edge, LLC painting events.  Each participant will be engaging in activities that involve risk of potential injury, which might result not only from their own actions, inactions, or negligence, but the action, inaction, or negligence of others, or the condition of the premises or of any equipment used.  Further that there may be other risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time The Painted Edge, LLC is not responsible for any accidents or incidents even those involving over consumption of alcohol or burns or slip and falls. Must be 21+ to consume alcohol.  If you are serving alcohol at your event The Painted Edge, LLC and its employees are not responsible/liable.  We do not provide alcohol and we are not responsible for verifying the age of your event guests.

The Painted Edge, LLC and its employees are not responsible/liable for any damages or claims for damages for personal injury, personal property, death or permanent total disability, which I may have or which may hereafter occur as a result of participation at a hosting venue you have selected/registered to attend/host an event.

This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Louisiana where The Painted Edge operates. Any disputes arising under this waiver shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that state.

By making a payment for any paint party event with The Painted Edge, I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand the terms of this Consent and Liability Waiver. I voluntarily agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of myself and/or my child.

Public Events

It is The Painted Edge’s policy for all guests to have a fantastic experience. And we look forward to partying with you, but we understand life happens. 

Due to material preparation & costs, all sales are final & we are unable to offer refunds. 

However, if you are unable to attend after reserving your spot please notify us within 48-hours of the class and we can offer one of the following:

1. A Painting 2Geaux Take Home Kit of the missed class. Please allow up to 3 bus days for your paint kit.

2. You may transfer your class to another person by contacting us via email.

3. A paint party credit toward a future event if canceled within 48 hours of party.

You will NOT be given credit if you fail to show or if cancellation is NOT done 48 hours before the event.

The Painted Edge reserves the right to cancel, postpone and change a class in unforeseen circumstances. Registration fees are refunded when the class is canceled by our studio. There are no refunds on Gift Certificates.

Private Events

The deposit is to secure a requested paint party date. Once you have booked your paint party, we lock the date in on the calendar on no other guests are able to book for that date. Because of this the deposit is Non-refundable.

If you would like to cancel or reschedule your paint party, we have a 7-day cancelation policy. As long as your cancelation is at least 7 days before your event you will get a full credit (no cash refund) of your deposit amount or the option to reschedule.

If cancellation is done within the allotted time, the reservation deposit and any reserved seats will be given a studio credit towards an event or class. This credit will not expire and can be used for an event in the future or given as a gift. 

If you fail to give us at least one week (7 days) notice from your scheduled event date, your RESERVATION DEPOSIT will NOT be CREDITED TOWARDS ANY EVENT OR CLASS NOR WILL IT BE REFUNDED BACK TO YOU. If your guests don’t show up for any reason, please understand that you have a minimum number to meet, and the total balance remains despite guest changes.
